Sermon Preview: August 17

On the sixth day of creation, God makes the animals and people. And God gives us power –power to hold dominion and power to share in the creativity of God. In worship on Sunday August 17th, we will celebrate the Christian sacrament of baptism. Alongside our baptismal promises, the sermon called “From Power Over to Starting Over” will explore the question of our human place and potential.
