The Family Literacy Program was held during Intersession, October 4th  –  21st.  Classes were held for not only adults, but for children normally attending school, and daycare was provided for infants and toddlers.  Teachers were hired from Black Hawk College, and daycare workers were used from the ESL program.  This project was run on a grant from the Doris and Victor Day Foundation.

Approximately 120 adults and children attended on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
