The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center has announced the January 31st retirement of Ida Robinson. Ida managed the food service portion of the Center’s larger after school program. With her retirement approaching, the King Center asked Church of Peace to take over the food service for this program. the partnership will begin on October 3rd.

A Memorandum of Understanding will be written and presented to the Council. You will notice no extra work being done around COP for this project as the food will still be fixed and served at the King Center. COP will take on the paperwork and management. We are pleased to be able to make this announcement.
