Easter Egg Hunt

All children are invited to our annual Easter Egg hunt on Easter Sunday, March 31 at 9:00 a.m. The hunt will be outside if the weather permits and inside if it is inclement weather. The invite includes grandchildren and friends also. See you there!

Congregational Meeting

On Sunday, February 24th our Congregational Meeting is after worship. Everyone is invited to bring a dish to share. Immediately following the shared meal, the meeting will begin. It is important for everyone to attend to discuss the business of the church to which we are all a part.

Weekly Lenten Book Study

Join our new pastor, Pastor Mariah Marlin- Warfield, on Wednesday evenings throughout Lent as she leads a book study on Unbinding Your Heart by Martha Grace Reese. We will explore the topic “Sharing Our Faith on the Journey”, and get to know each other through conversation and prayer. All are welcome!

Wednesday evening dinners will be served beginning at 5:30 pm in Fellowship Hall, and the book studies begin at 6:30 pm in the Lounge.

Chancel choir practice follows the book studies during this time.

Bless Your Heart Sunday is Sunday, February 17th. Wear red to church that day not only to be with the theme to recognize heart health, but to also welcome our new pastor!

New Pastor Begins at Church of Peace!

Our period of patient waiting is coming to a close. Please join us on Sunday, February 17th for Pastor Mariah Marlin-Warfield’s first worship service as our settled pastor. Please plan to stay afterward for a cake and punch welcome reception in Fellowship Hall.

Thank you to Rev. John Crede, Tammy Ebensberger, Rev. Ken Kuenning, Kevin Carney, Paul Waytenick, Sheila Sheer, Mary Kae and Jessica Waytenick, and others for leading our worship during this interim period.

Ash Wednesday Observance

Pastor Emeritus Ken Kuenning conducted the first service during this interim period, and he will fittingly conduct the last interim worship service on Ash Wednesday, February 13th at 7 pm. This service will include Holy Communion and disposition of ashes. Dinner served before the service is at 5:30 pm.

Renew your wedding vows

On Sunday, February 10th (the Sunday before Valentine’s Day)immediately following the morning worship service, Rev. Crede will conduct a short RENEWAL OF WEDDING VOWS service in the sanctuary for all couples whowould like to renew their vows.

The only thing youneed to bring is your spouse! This will be a very short service, but very meaningful. You do not have to “sign up” to be a part of this. Just stay after church, andtake part in the short service. If you have any questions, please see Rev. Crede.
