Today was Palm Sunday/Passion Sunday at the Church of Peace. The service began with a procession with palms – which included the choir, the children, the confirmands and a few of the rest of us also. Thanks to our volunteers for so generously donating their time to the Intersession Meals Program held March 12-23. We served approximately 2,800 meals to children and 370 meals to adults in the Family Literacy Program during the 10-day break from school. This number includes not only Church of Peace but also the King Center.
