The Church of Peace in Rock Island, Ill., marks its annual Rally Day on Sunday, September 11, 2016. Rally Day signals the return from the summer schedule to the beginning of Sunday School classes. All are welcome. Breakfast served 8:30-10 a.m. with an opportunity to look at the church’s historic scrapbooks.
Then at 10:15 a.m. there will be a skit to introduce the worship service with influential past religious figures who have advice for modern Christians. Then the worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. with time for remembering and church members who will share favorite church memories.
On Sunday, September 17, Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. for kids and at 9 a.m. for adults, followed by fellowship time at 10 a.m., and worship at 10:30 a.m.
